Fighting Felony DUI Charges
If you have been arrested more than once for drunk driving, you might have a better idea of what to expect from the criminal system. However, that does not make the process less frightening. In fact, because the stakes are higher, you may be more terrified than ever.
I offer clients the legal counsel they need to fight felony DUI charges. With over 25 years of experience at my firm — Mace J. Yampolsky & Associates — I understand the legal system and know what is necessary to build a strong defense. I represent clients throughout Las Vegas who are facing charges for drunk driving.
Understanding the Process for Felony DUI Charges
When I represent clients, I work to see if I am able to help them qualify for the Serious Offenders Bureau. Clients are interviewed to see if they qualify and acceptance to the Bureau gives clients the chance to minimize the consequences they are facing. If accepted, they will be on house arrest for six months, must keep a clean record and must attend alcohol counseling. After three years, they are eligible to withdraw their plea and try for second offense charges.
Because the stakes are higher in felony DUI cases, it is important to work with an attorney who is willing to fight aggressively to protect you at every step of the process. I understand what is at stake for my clients and I work aggressively to protect their freedom.
Don't put yourself at risk by working with a lawyer who is not willing to do what it takes to protect your freedom. Schedule your free initial consultation by contacting me online or by calling 702-487-4762.
